We might not have saved Constantine when we tried but there is little bit of good news if we want some kind of resolution to what was happening on season one. We are going to see that, thanks to CW. The TV Series might be gone, but he’s returning for guest appearance in arrow season 4. MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW. The CW has announced that he will be appearing in episode 5 called “Haunted”, even though the details are being kept quiet. The director says the episode will feature a chracter’s resurrection. (Now we all know who that might be.) When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan). Now it sounds pretty damn awesome, as it has been officially confirmed.
Obviously they have to go through a lot of hoops and jumbled hurdles to get an NBC character on CW but clearly they work the sound it. “They moved heaven and Earth to get me here,” Ryan told TV Guide. “I was starting rehearsals for a play with Keira Knightley in New York on the first of September. And originally, where the episode sat in the season, I wouldn’t have been able to do it because of my schedule. But everybody just pulled together and moved some things around and really made it work.” This means that the DC TV universe is going to mess around with the magic John Constantine. Maybe who knows, this can be converted to The Flash also, and when that happens, The Flash is going to take it to the whole new level. This can be an indication that we might probably see Supergirl crossover too.
John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama.
