[POEM] Freedom still at bay

To those who strived for freedom
Their souls still alive
For those who strived for justice
In old age they still lie

Away from the sight
Of this merciless world
In their memories they live
With the freedom they earned

Sacrificing their teenage
For the freedom of nation
They strove in the jails
Till the last foe was deported

For where has the freedom
That they earned for us gone
For where are the youngsters
Whose efforts must count

They lost their youthfulness
In war and strikes
They earned respect and peace for all
They rejoiced together
When nation got on heels
Their efforts go unaccounted
Like a drizzle in the sea
